LWV Texas has asked the Secretary of State to provide citizens with voter registration cards that are valid regarding the new rules the legislature has put in place.

At our April Unit meeting City of Fort Worth solid waste management Chris Harper spoke to the League via Zoom about the status of recycling and solid waste reduction in Fort Worth.
Yesterday, the Texas Civil Rights Project with Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP filed a petition on behalf of the League of Women Voters of Tarrant County and League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) Fort Worth Council 4568 against County Judge Tim O'Hare, Tarrant County, and the Tarrant County Commissioners Court.
LWVTC hosts our Hot Topic Luncheons to educate our members and the public about timely issues. Join us to hear directly from experienced immigration experts about one of the most complex and consequential policy issues in Texas and across the United States. Panelists will bring valuable insights on the state of immigration law, detention, and what’s happening on the ground in our community. Attendees will leave better informed, better equipped to engage in thoughtful discussion, and more prepared to advocate for fair, humane, and effective immigration policies.
We've reserved a special block of seats for League members and supporters during two performances of SUFFS at Bass Hall. SUFFS is the Tony Award-winning Broadway Musical about the brilliant, passionate, and funny American women who fought tirelessly for the right to vote.
