 January 2010: State Program Planning

All League programs emanate from the members like us, and this is our opportunity to participate in LWV Program Planning on both the state and national levels.  The League depends on the members to suggest areas of interest for studies, which may eventually become positions and thus the foundation for our advocacy.

Further details and study documents: Click here.

If you are unable to attend a unit meeting and have comments regarding state or national program planning please submit your Program Planning comments by January 18th.  You may submit your comments electronically to the Tarrant County League of Women Voters at:   lwvtarrantcounty@sbglobal.net

Based on our input, the LWV-Texas Board of Directors will announce additions to our position on March 1, 2010.
