The League of Women Voters is the organization where hands-on work to safeguard democracy leads to civic improvement. Add your voice to over 150,000 League members and supporters across the country in making democracy work.
The League of Women Voters is a respected national grassroots organization where individuals like you are actively engaged in creating positive change on the local, state, and national levels. Become a member and serve as a leader in your community, and work to shape the important issues that keep our communities strong.
Membership in the League of Women Voters, the most respected and effective grassroots organization in the country, is open to all citizens, men and women, of voting age (18 years old).
When you join the League of Women Voters of Tarrant County, you also become a member of the state and national Leagues. In addition to our local online newsletter, THE VOTER, you’ll receive the national and state newsletters.

Our calendar is packed with elective activities and issue forums. We are able to continue such an extensive array of public service to the community because of one thing: Your Membership.
In addition to funding local activities, a total of $51.70is paid to the National ($29.70) and the State ($22.00) LWV organizations for each voting membership. When returning your renewal, please consider one of our special membership categories or an additional contribution to help cover our local costs.
